About Yazmin Pinchen
Yazmin was born in 1993 and lives in Rusper, West Sussex with her parent’s Nancy and Gary and older sister Jorden. She enjoys all sports especially lacrosse and show Jumping. She attends Dunottar School in Reigate, Surrey. Her ambitions are Horse of the Year Show in October, Royal International 2009, The 2012 Olympics and the European Pony or Junior Team 2009.
Yazmin has been involved with horses all of life as her mother also takes a big interest in horses. She started to ride when she was three years of age and joined the pony club until she was 8. She then joined the BSJA (British Show Jumping Association) and started jumping on 128cm (12.2 hh) ponies.
She enjoyed great success on Tullibard’s Magic Trick and Dynamite Diggy but unfortunately broke her hip when she was 9 and had to have a year off riding. This was a huge disappointment for Yazmin who had to sell her ponies but a year later was back this time on novice ponies Tisrara Snowy and Mysterix who she had from age 5 and produced them from small tracks up to 128cm Horse of the Year Show qualifiers. When she was 12 she then started riding 138cm (13.2hh) ponies and by the age of 12 had won her first gold medal for England on the 138cm pony jumping team on Gemstone Jet in Cavan,Ireland.
In the same year Yazmin started riding a novice 148cm (14.2hh) pony called Drimna Magic Lady a beautiful 5 year old Connemara mare who started off her jumping career in British Novice classes and now 3 years later is having great success in 148 classes with many wins and placings nationally and internationally. Magic has qualified for Horse of the Year Show and Royal International which means a lot to Yazmin as she has done all the hard work herself. Alongside Magic, Yazmin also rides another novice pony Castlecourt Rumour who is also showing a lot of ability and scope. In 2008 Yazmin was very fortunate to get Edsilia and Fabian both 148 cm jumping ponies to add to her team.
As you can see below i am a little older than the photo's above now. I am lucky to have my sister to hang out with and yes she really is super cool.
